Bogles, Marsh Sprites & Green Mists; Three Fenland stories

This quirky, mysterious and uplifting show is aimed at children aged 4 – 11 (and their families). Three  Fenland Stories combines folklore re-imagined through the eyes and ears of children with vibrant, earthy chamber music for string quartet. Written and narrated by Kate Romano (a BBC writer and familiar voice on Radio 3) and illustrated with projected shadow-play images Bogles, Marsh Sprites & Green  Mists  inspires wonder and curiosity in younger children, observing the Fenland stories from a safe ‘playground distance’ as the green mists descend. The production takes youngest audiences on a journey of bravery, fear and friendship to a place where bogles and marsh sprites play tricks and a North Sea wind whistles through stunted willows.
