Widdershins Puppet Theatre

The perplexing question of fairytales - what really happened between the wolf and his three porky friends? Why was Goldilocks wandering in the woods? How did the goats overcome a mighty troll - are explored and explained by the wonderful Theatre of Widdershins with the help of fun, laughter, some gorgeous puppets and a soundtrack that will stick in your head long after you've left the theatre. This a FREE event suitable for everyone aged 3+ and their pet trolls. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Motown Tribute Band - Mission Blue

Originally formed in 1997, Mission Blue have established themselves as one of the UK’s top Motown tribute bands. Randolph Patterson, trained dancer, singer, choreographer, is the founder and leader of Mission Blue. This is a very slick show immaculately presented. Ticket price: Adults £15 Under 16s £10

Young Musicians' Concert - Thursday, May 17th, 7:00pm

Featuring young musicians from Ashwell School and Knights Templar School. This will be followed by Sung Compline. This is a non-ticketed event. Entrance free with a retiring collection.

Darius Brubeck Quartet

The quartet’s acoustic sound is melodic, spontaneous, rhythmic and engaging. Reviews from Brian Payne from the Jazz Journal ‘Brubeck has an easy conversational rapport with the audience - the chemistry of this quartet has to be seen live to be appreciated’. Ticket price: Adults £15 Under 16s £10

Festal Evensong - Sunday 20th May 6:00pm

The traditional Choral Evensong with sacred music to close the Festival. This is a non-ticketed event. Entrance free with a retiring collection. The guest preacher this year is the Rev'd George Bush, Rector of St Mary-le-Bow Church, Cheapside, London and Chaplain to The Rt Hon the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Charles Bowman.
